Hello Students!! Let's get ready to become movie producers!!

Stop Motion: What is it?

Stop motion is a way of taking a compilation of images and putting them together in a way that makes them appear to be moving, like a movie.

Welcome to The Mini Movie Project WebQuest! Here you will learn to integrate a message into a stop animation movie.  Stop animation is when you make static objects appear to be moving through a series of images, in this case, pictures you will be taking.  You will be using iMovie to create your animation in a group of peers. To help motivate creativity groups will look at artists who use static objects to create a different meaning. After investigating artists and examples of other stop animation movies, groups will send a message by using inanimate objects.  What you should start to think about is what message you would like to send to the rest of  the world, as you will be posting these on Youtube.
